Memories

I first had something similar in Key West. I loved them!
I don’t really consider myself a sweet tooth, but if you love butter, pecans and brown sugar!
These are how I remember them on the pier at sunset in Key West.

Perfect pecan candy

I’m a Louisiana girl living in Texas and was craving some pecan candy from home. A friend recommended Ann’s, and I’m so thankful bc they are perfect. THIS is how pecan candy should taste! Also 5 stars for the shipping and packaging. ⭐️

I'm proudly addicted

I attended the Taste of Soul in October of this year. I'm normally drawn to anything that says New Orleans because I was born and raise there. My grandmother and auntee made the best pralines that was a favorite growing up. My Oldest nephew who is born and raised in LA absolutely loves our recipe that my cuzn after years of practice, finally replicated. When I was given a sample of Anns pralines as well as the chocolate ones it was like going home. I did not get to see my nephew at the Taste of Soul, but I did text him that he better try these. He did and also fell in love. We decided to exchange gifts this past Sunday and I knew I had to get him some of these creamy delicious yummies as part of my gifts to him. One of my vidoes of our gift exchanges you can hear him saying "Aunt Dee I will eat all my pralines today. That's where the addictive comes in. I was like dude, in moderation. After reading the history of these candies and the 7 ward, I became addicted to hearing the history that included this family giving back in various ways to help our society. Derek is an awesome person who hooked me up with a discount and in my opinion played a role in completing the gift experience with something that bring fond memories. I have 2 more for myself but trying not to eat it is hard. I think they should be listed on Oprah's favorite things, but if not, it's definitely mine :)

Much success
