We all know that once you have so much of something as a child, it's hard to love it like the first bite...but the Treme chocolate pecan pralines have awaken my taste buds. They were the first to go from my order. I found myself sorting through the box wanting more once they were gone. lol This praline made me fall in love all over again. I absolutely loved it's creamy texture with the right blend of chocolate. To be honest, I never craved pralines as a sweet treat so I was pleasantly amazed at how fast they went. It was such pleasure to re-experience this New Orleans staple.
Ok, so complete transparency… I’m not a big fan of sweets. This purchase started out as a way to support good people who are doing good things. Also, I knew my wife and kids would knock them out in a blink of an eye. But man when I tasted these, more especially the chocolate… Oh My God my family can’t have any and I haven’t warmed it las suggested yet. I’m buying more and soon!!!!!
Ann’s candies not only taste great but the packaging and delivery times are phenomenal. I love supporting small businesses and Ann’s makes it easier to want to support by their awesome customer service and attention to detail. I’m a repeat customer and I haven’t been disappointed with any of my orders. I’m looking forward to the next one. By the way, if you haven’t, I completely recommend to warm in the microwave for 10 seconds #gamechanger
The chocolate praline was so good, perfect amount of cacao, not too sweet. It was nice to have it as a treat on my cheat day after dieting all week. I loved that every follow raises money for local social causes, amazing initiative!
I’m a chocolate lover but was a little apprehensive about trying a chocolate praline. However, I was given an opportunity to try one for free with an order I placed. Ann’s Creole Candies sent me a free chocolate praline as “lagniappe” (a New Orleans word meaning something extra) which allowed me to try it free of charge. I loved them!! So much so that I ordered some for myself as well as a friend. It’s the perfect amount of cocoa to give you the flavor without it being too sweet. These are offered at limited times so do yourself a favor and place an order when you see them available. You won’t be disappointed!!
